Notes for Elizabeth “Betsy” Hornsby
Daughter of Jacob Hornsby and Malinda Barrett. She was recorded with them in Clay Co., Ky as Elizabeth age 1 in 1850 and age 12 in 1860.

Rogers, David, 28, farmer, b. North Carolina; Elizabeth, 20, b. Ky; Malinda J., 5, b. Ky; John M., 2, b. Ky; John M. B., 26, works on farm, b. North Carolina.
Note that Jacob is not in this census, so the age of 11 given for him in 1880 is very likely incorrect (unless David and Elizabeth are not really his parents.)

Judging by the 1900 and 1910 censuses (see below), Elizabeth is the same wife who was recorded with David in 1870, so her age is considerably off.
