Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage of Peter Amyx and Damey Caskey on 22 Feb 1838 by Joseph Nickell.

1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 2 Aug, lists on p. 19 as family #106:
Peter H. Amyx, 38, farmer, b. Va; Dama, 31, b. Ky; John, 11; James, 9; Lydia, 7; Hannah, 3; Nancy, 1. All children born in Ky.

The preceding household is headed by my GGG grandparents, Isaac Hall and Annie Martin.

1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 1, enumerated 4 June, lists on p. 1 as family #3:
Peter Amyx, 45, farmer, b. Virginia; Diamah, 42, b. Ky; James M., 18; Lydia H., 16; Hannah C., 10; Nancy B., 8; Henry B., 3; Mary F., 4/12. All children born in Ky.

Note that Hannah and Nancy are both recorded as three years younger than implied by the 1850 census.

The preceding household is headed by Damie’s parents. Peter and Damie’s son John is living with them.

1870 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Blairs Mill precinct, Bangor P.O., enumerated 22 July, lists on p. 5 as family #37:
Amyx, Peter H., 58, farmer, b. Va; Perlina, 15; Henry B., 12; Mary F., 11. Brown, Eda, 35, house keeper; Henry B., 6; Joanna B., 1. All except Peter born in Kentucky.

Eda is the daughter of John T. Brown and Catherine Crose. She did not marry. I suspect that Peter Amyx is the father of at least her three youngest children, but possibly not of Henry, who was born while Damie was still alive.
