“Geraldine Easterling Sorrell, age 76 of Cannel City, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and the daughter of the Late Wardie Easterling and Minnie Nickell Easterling.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her Parents and a Brother; William "Bill" Easterling.
Surviving is her Husband; Lester Sorrell of Cannel City, KY, 3 Children; Helen Samson, Rod McCarty and Pamila Sorrell all of Cannel City, KY; 4 Grandchildren; Donalda & Matthew Harper, Kaye & Clinton Perry, Bo & Amber Phipps and Bubbo McCarty; 2 Great-Grandchildren; Cheyenne Harper and Stacia Blackburn, 2 Sisters; Vonderine Lykins and Cogy Dennis both of Cannel City, KY and 2 Brothers; Joey Easterling of Cannel City, KY and Earnest Easterling of Xenia, OH.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from the Grace Baptist Church in Malone, KY with Rev. Mike Lindon officiating. Interment will follow at the Lanny Prater Family Cemetery on Rail Road Fork in Cannel City, KY.”
