Hall, William, 21, farm laborer; Arzealy, 21, wife. Both born Ky Ky Ky. Hall, Thomas, 23, farm laborer, b. Ky Ky Ky. Caroline, 22, wife, b. N.C.; William, 2, son, b. Ky Ky N.C.

This household is improperly recorded. If the two young couples were sharing a dwelling, either Thomas and Caroline should have been given their own family number (#221/245), or else they should have been recorded as William’s brother, sister-in-law, and nephew. Any time the person that the relationships are relative to changes, the family number is supposed to change. If they were not sharing a dwelling, then they should have been #222/245.
