According to a note on the “Cooper Family Tree” on Ancestry, “Ollie had been married to Cleland Penn and had one child, Robert Penn born 12 January 1900. Ollie and Cleland divorced. It is said that John Kash did not want anyone to know he had married a divorced woman with a child and was afraid his parents would not continue to pay for his medical school if they found out.  At some point, he had Ollie's son Robert put in an orphanage.  He had Adolphus (Dock) Cooper of Winchester, KY put Robert in the orphanage under the name of Robert Cooper so he couldn't be traced back to him. This information came from Robert Cooper's two cousins Ida Mae and Emma Thacker and from Robert's first wife Venezia De Rosa.”
