1930 census of Woodford Co., Kentucky, Millville precinct, enumerated April 3, lists on p. 1B as family #15/15:
Kash, William D., 24, farmer, age at first marriage 18; Bertha, wife, 27, age at first marriage 21; John M., son, 2. All born Ky Ky Ky.
They are sharing a house with William’s sister Emma and her husband Clyde Wright, listed as family #15/16.
In 1940, Bertha and John are recorded with her second husband, Gould Porter. I have not found William in either the 1940 census or the Kentucky death records. Perhaps they divorced and he moved out of state.
