“GIBBS, Arley age 81, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1929 in Menifee County, Kentucky, and lived in Middletown for 63 years. He was employed as a Die Mounter at Inland Container for 44 years. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and was an avid outdoorsman. The family sends their special thanks and appreciation to Hospice Care of Middletown and his nurse, Amber Witt.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hillard and Bessie (Slusher) Gibbs; one granddaughter, Melissa Grizzle Stout; and one brother, Allen Gibbs. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Gibbs; two sons, Vincent Gibbs, wife Pam of Middletown, Ohio and Mike Gibbs, wife Stacy of Camden, Ohio; two daughters, Debra Gibbs of Middletown, Ohio and Judy Grizzle, husband Johnny of Middletown, Ohio; one sister, Ida Belle Turner of Middletown, Ohio; one brother, Harvey Gibbs of Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and eleven great grand children.
Visitation will be at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services with Reverend Rodney Williams officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.”
