The reported birth date is very likely incorrect, since her sister Prisiclla’s birth was reported as 11 Aug 1925, and two children cannot be born to the same mother two months apart. Priscilla’s birth certificate was also a delayed filing, but it matches better with the census records. (In 1930, Priscilla was recorded as age 4 years 8 months and Ruby as age 3, corrected to 2 years 10 months.)
