Be careful not to confuse this family with that of his uncle, William Braddock Holbrook born 1831, who married Susannah Hamilton. Since their names are the same and they lived in the same area, Ancestry.com often “suggests” one family’s records for the other, especially since the spelling for this family is non-standard on the 1870 census.
