“Lovell M. Lewis of West Liberty, KY passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Winchester Nursing Home, Winchester, KY, at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 25 days. She was born on Sunday, November 25, 1923 at Hickory Grove in Morgan County, KY, daughter of the late James Henry & Ruthie Lewis.
She was united in marriage to Paris Lewis. To this union was born seven children, Ronnie, Barbara, Marilyn, Rita, Becky, Donald Dean, and Baby Lewis. Lovell was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home.
In addition to her parents, Lovell was preceded in death by her husband, Paris Lewis, two infant children, Donald Dean Lewis and Baby Lewis; one son-in-law, Charles Ray Lykins; three brothers, and four sisters.
She is survived by five children, Ronnie and Bennetta Lewis of Winchester, Barbara and Darrell Conley of Lexington, Marilyn Lykins of Franklin, TN, Rita & Ronald McGuire of West Liberty, and Becky Frye of Winchester; five grandchildren, Rhonda Whiteley, Randy Lewis, Robbie Lewis, Tammy Stephens, Stephanie Enzweiler; ten great grandchildren, Kayla Whiteley, Brandon Whiteley, Logan Lewis, Brianna Lewis, Jevan Lewis, Brayden Lewis, Lindsay Stephens, Tyler Stephens, Hayley Enzweiler, and Nolan Enzweiler; and one brother, James H. Lewis, Jr. of Middletown, OH.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Potter Funeral Home with Rev. Verne Mohr officiating. Burial to follow in the Paris Lewis Cemetery, Pleasant Run Road, West Liberty, KY. Visitation from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday at the Potter Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Randy Lewis, Robert Whiteley, Robbie Lewis, Jim Stephens, Steve Enzweiler, Darrell Conley, Ronnie McGuire, and Doug Cox.”
