“Donald E. Brown, 91, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Greenwood Manor. He was born November 1, 1914 in Yocum, Kentucky, the son of Lyn Boyd and Carrie Thornbury Brown. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Huffman Manufacturing. He is survived by his wife, Frieda ( Cox ) Brown ; daughter and son-in-law, Donna ( Bennie ) Johannes of Wilmington and son and daughter-in-law, Terry Brown and Deborah Wolterman of Lebanon ; three grandchildren, Scott Johannes of Wilmington, Matt Johannes of Wilmington and Mark Johannes of Beavercreek ; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, Abby, and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mabel Jordan, Dorothy Brown, and Emma Brown. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 3, at the Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. E. M. Wardle officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.”
