A transcription of Morgan Co., Ky marriage records lists the marriage on 4 July 1899 of J. S. Rose and Mary Bishop on 4 July 1899. This is the right date range for the marriage of Green Lee Rose and Mary Bishop, so it is probably a transcription error for G. L. Rose.

It is strange that Mary is recorded by her maiden name only, as if it were her given name. But this must be the same family, since their three married daughters are all listed with their husbands on the same page - Daisy at #16, Carrie at #17, and Grace at #24. The proximity of all four couples suggest that perhaps Green Lee gave some of his farm land to his daughters and sons in law.
