Notes for Samuel Thomas Hall
Kanawha Co., West Virginia death register lists Samuel T. Hall, age 69 years 1 month 29 days, died 25 Feb 1929 in St. Albans, parents don’t know, married, occupation carpenter, cause of death pulmonary tuberculosis.

The reported age at death would imply a birth date of 27 Dec 1859, but he does not appear in the 1860 census, and he is recorded as age 9 in the 1870 census, so it is apparently off by a year. His gravestone says that he was born 25 Dec 1859 and died 24 Feb 1929.
