Notes for Sarah Myers
For a long time - decades in fact! - I had Sarah linked as a daughter of Christopher Myers and Elizabeth Alfrey, based on some other Myers researcher’s data; I don’t remember who. Possibly a family group sheet for the Christopher Myers family filed at a library, since she has been that way in my files since before the days of Internet genealogy.

But in the summer of 1850, when that year’s census was taken, Sarah would have still been single, and the Christopher Myers family shows no daughter named Sarah in the 1850 census, while the Joseph Myers family does have a daughter Sarah age 17. Moreover, the Christopher Myers family has a daughter Polly age 17 in 1850, whose birthdate would conflict with Sarah’s, if she were their daughter too. So I now think it more likely that Sarah who married Isaac Hall is the same Sarah who was the daughter of Joseph Myers. (The two families of children were double first cousins to each other, since Joseph and Christopher were brothers, and Rachel and Elizabeth were sisters.)

Since I have no other evidence though, I am keeping both sets of potential parents linked, but making Joseph Myers and Rachel Alfrey the preferred parents.
Notes for Isaac & Sarah (Family)
Morgan Co. marriage Book 1, p. 110, lists "Married by me on 26th Nov 1850 Mr. Isaac Hall & Sarah Myers Jan 26th 1851 W. Saddler"
Census
1860 census of Bath Co., KY, family #1606:
Isaac Hall, 29; Sarah, 28; Lucy, 8; Marion, 5 (male); David, 3; James, 1.

1870 census of Bath Co., KY, White Sulphur Precinct, lists family:
Hall, Sarah (widow) 37; Lucy Jane, 18; Marian (female) 15; David H. 13; James, 11; Sarah T. (male), 9; William, 8 mo.; Mary, 8 mo. All born in Kentucky.

(Note the conflict between son Marion age 5 in the 1860 census and the daughter Marian age 15 in this census.) Marion Hall age 15 is also listed in Rowan Co. with the family of Sarah’s brother David, and James Hall age 11 is listed next door with Caleb & Julia (Alfrey) Kash.

The babies William and Mary were born out of wedlock to Sarah. Their father is James H. Maze, with whom they are recorded in the 1880 census.

1880 census of Bath Co., Ky, Polksville precinct, enumerated 8 June, lists on p. 8 as household #79:
Hall, Sarah, 40, widowed, farmer, b. Ky Ky Ky.

This is very probably Isaac’s widow. Sarah would have really been 47 at the time, so the age is significantly off, but I can find no better match, and the preceding household was that of their daughter, Lucy Jane, with her husband George Gregory.
