Census Notes for William & Mary “Polly” Ann (Family)
1850 census of Morgan Co., Ky, enumerated 26 Aug, lists as family #425:
William Cock, 48, farmer; Mary, 46; Mahala, 20; Carter, 18; George, 16; Reuben, 13; Franklin, 11; Lucy, 9; Mary, 7; Sarah, 5. All born in Virginia.

1860 census of Morgan Co., Ky, division 2, enumerated 1 July, lists on p. 23 as family #142:
William Cock, 58, farmer; Mary, 56; Frank, 24; Lucy A., 19; Sarah J., 17; Mary A., 15. All born in Virginia.

Note that Sarah and Mary have swapped places in the birth order from the 1850 census.

1870 census of Morgan Co., Hamptons Mill precinct, enumerated 19 July, lists on p. 2 as family #10:
Cock, William, 70, farmer; Mary, 68; Lucy, 30; Sarah, 21. All born in Virginia.

The next household is that of their son George, and the preceding household is their son Carter.

The Sarah here is probably not their daughter, as the Sarah listed as age 28 with their son Reuben is a better age fit. She may be a niece. (Too bad that relationships were not recorded until 1880.)
