Census Notes for Isabelle Springer
1920 census of Upper Tygart district, Carter Co., Ky, p. 2B, lists as family #22:
Isabell Fraley, 40, widow, head of household; Dell, 17, daughter; Rusel, 15, son; Cora, 11, daughter; Frona, 2 6/12, daughter. All born in Kentucky.

(Isabelle’s second husband Henry Lawson was still alive in 1920, so she was really either divorced or separated. But she apparently went back to thinking of herself as Daniel’s widow.)

1930 census of Logan Co., West Virginia, Blair precinct, enumerated 1 April, lists on p. 5A as family #81/82:
Fraley, Russell, 26, single, coal miner; Ice Bell, mother, 52, widowed, age at first marriage 16; Della, sister, 27; Fronie, sister, 13; Mandie (or Maudie), niece, 10. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Mandie is probably Della’s daughter.
Notes for Henry T. B. & Isabelle (Family)
Rowan Co. marriage book 7, p. 648, records the marriage on 19 Sep 1912 of Henry Lawson, 65, 2nd marriage, farmer, residence Ryan, born Scott Co., Va, father William Lawson, mother Martha Lawson, to Iasa Belle Fraley, 33, born Rowan Co. (parents not listed), 2nd marriage, at home of the bride by G. W. Hardeman, witnesses: Bertha Jane Cornett and Larra Bell Fraley, bond surety by Harry H. Tussey.

This was really Henry’s third marriage.

Henry and Isabelle apparently separated sometime before 1920, because in the 1920 census Isabelle is calling herself Fraley again, and Henry did not die until 1924. They may have officially divorced, but I have not looked for a divorce record.
