Notes for Jeremiah “Jerry” M. Peyton
I’m not really sure he had a middle initial M. His name is sometimes recorded as Jeremiah Peyton and sometimes as Jerry M. Peyton, so it is possible that the “M” stands for the “Miah” part.

His WW I draft registration card, filed 5 June 1917, records Jerry Peyton, age 25, residence Paragon, Ky, born 29 March 1892 in Panama, Ky, occupation farming, self-employed, married supporting 2 children.
