Adjacent field stones for Henry and Elizabeth Arnold bear only their names. Most of my information on this family is from pp. 88-89 of Lester Binnie's The German Baptist Arnolds. His sources include Oren Ernest Frazee's The Arnold Family of Ohio, 1925, and Brethren church records and obituaries. I have supplemented some of the marriages with data from Montgomery and Miami County court records, which Binnie appears not to have consulted for this project.

This family has not been found before they appear in Montgomery Co., Ohio. A county history states that Henry Arnold came from Virginia, with sons Henry, John, and Christian. Most of the census records for Henry's sons say that they were born in Pennsylvania, though, so if the family did migrate from Virginia, they must have moved there from Pennsylvania after the children were born.
