Dates of birth and death from Cemetery Records of Carroll County. The entry lists her as "GILES, Penelope Quesenberry Martin, wife of Capt. G. S. Martin." Mary Q. Kell confirms that this was an error in recording the cemetery, the first name of her husband being mistaken for a surname.
