He is listed twice in the 1860 census of Bath Co, once wth his widowed mother and younger siblings as Harrison Riddle age 23 (p. 112, taken July 31), and once with the family of James Boyd age 26 and Mary Boyd age 20 as Harry Riddle, age 23 (p. 65, taken 21 June.) His mother and siblings are also listed twice, see their notes for details.

Her death certificate (vol. 78, #31052) states Rochel Riddle, age 59 yrs 10 mos, born March 1852 in Lewis Co. Ky, died 27 Dec 1911 in Plummer’s Mill, Fleming Co., Ky, widowed, father Sol Cropper, born Lewis Co., mother’s maiden name not known, cause of death stroke, informant Wm Riddle, Ringos Mill, burial in Fairview Cemetery.

1900 census of Fleming Co., Ky, p. 136A, lists as family #59/63:
Riddle, Andrew, 63, b. Oct 1836; Rachel, 46, b. Mar 1856; married 18 years, mother of 5 children, 5 living; Sarrah, dau, 17, b. Apr 1883; Andrew, son, 16, b. Apr 1884; William, son, 14, b. May 1886; Martha, dau, 13, b. Feb 1887; Mahala, dau, 6, b. Jul 1893.

1910 census of Fleming Co., Ky, district 5, enumerated 30 April, lists on pp. 11B-12A as family #214/215:
Riddle, Rachel, 58, widowed, mother of 5 children, 5 living; William J., son, 23, single; Mahala, dau, 18. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.
The margin notes read “Ringo’s Mills, Moore’s Ferry Road”.
