His gravestone inscription as published in Cemeteries of Indian Valley District gives his years of birth and death as 12 Nov 1887 to 20 May 1968, but that doesn’t make sense, given that he married in Sept 1898. You don’t have a boy who is not quite 11 years old getting married.
