In 1920 Cynthia was listed in Morgan County as age 81, widowed, with her son Curtis.

Marriage of James Silas Easterling & Cynthia Ann Downing listed in IGI, batch 7803921, sheet 34, microfilm 1126216.
Morgan Co. marriage register 1 lists license issued to Jarris Easterling and Cintha Downing on 28 Oct 1858. There is a return signed by R. C. Day, witnesses recorded as W. E. Easterling and George Hall, but the return does not show the date of the marriage.
The death dates are from their gravestones in Blair Cemetery. I cannot find either James or Cynthia in the Kentucky death records, not even searching all deaths in 1919 and 1923 in Morgan Co., and all deaths on those dates in the whole state. So they may have died in Indiana or some other state and been returned home for burial.
