Notes for Acy Royse
Acy Royse was killed by his uncle, Richmond Royse, in Fleming Co., Ky. He was buried several days at the Muses Mill Cemetery before he was moved to the family cemetery on Ditney Ridge past Chester Lewis' farm.
His death certificate records Acie Royse, age 42 years 8 months 28 days, born 9 Mar 1889 in Ky, died 3 Dec 1930 in Fleming Co., Ky, married, father Robert Royse, mother’s maiden name Keller Mannan, both born in Ky, cause of death rifle shot through bowels, at Plummer’s Landing at home of uncle, shot by uncle, informant Mr. Marion Adkins, Elliottville, Ky, burial in Elliotville.
Richmond was himself shot to death in 1951, but I do not know by whom.
