Johnson, Jean, 25, farmer, age at first marriage 20; Ima, wife, 28, age at first marriage 18; Clifford E., son, 5; Josephine, dau, 4; Marion J., son, 1/12; Minnie, mother-in-law, 52, widowed, age at first marriage 20. All born Ky Ky Ky.
The age for Ima should be 23, not 28. Ima’s father Marion Jones was still alive, and her mother Minnie (Crawford) Jones was listed with him in Rowan Co. in 1930, as age 56, so this Minnie Johnson may not really be Jean’s mother-in-law. I do not know his parents; it may be that she is either his mother or step-mother.
