Notes for Noah Clark
His death certificate records Noah Clark, age 69, born 24 Jan 1872 in Morehead, Ky, died 6 Jan 1951 in Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, married, occupation miner, father Samuel Clark, mother’s maiden name Elizabeth Fraley, cause of death intestinal obstruction, informant Mrs. Noah Clark, burial in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
The date of birth is very wrong in this record, and does not match the reported age at death. (An age at death of 69 would imply a birth date either in 1881 or the first week of 1882.)
Noah’s date of birth was listed as Jan 1881 (age 19) on the 1900 census, but he is enumerated as 27 in 1910, 38 in 1920, and 47 in 1930. Also, he had a brother Franklin born Feb 1880 (recorded as age 3 months in the 1880 census), and a sister Anna born in between Franklin and Noah. So I suspect that he may have really been 17 in 1900 and that his year of birth is either 1882 or 1883, more likely the latter, to allow room for Anna to fit in the birth order.

Her father’s 1931 will lists her as Mollie Cornett Clark of Oak Hill, W. Va. (Oak Hill is the largest town in Fayette Co. WV, although not its county seat.)
In her mother's obituary in Sept 1959, she is mentioned as a survivor, "Mrs. Molly Boggs, Frankford, W. Va."

1920 census of Kincaid precinct, Fayette Co., West Virginia, lists as family #21:
Clark, Noah, 38, Ky/Ky/Ky; Mollie, 33, wife, Ky/Va/Va; Herman, son, 15, Ky/Ky/Ky; Paris, son, 14, Ky/Ky/Ky.
1930 census of Oak Hill, Fayette Co., West Virginia, lists as family #59/70:
Clark, Noah, 47, Ky/Ky/Ky, age at first marriage 21; Mollie, wife, 44, Ky/Ky/Ky, age at first marriage 18; Howard C., son, 12, WV/Ky/Ky. (It is curious that Howard is not listed in the 1920 census. Perhaps he is really only 10.)
I cannot find this family in the 1940 census.
