The Fayette Co., WV marriage register lists the marriage on 28 Sep 1941 in Fayettesville of Howard Callous Clark, age 25, born in Page, son of Noah and Molly, occupation clerk, and Katherine Hudson, age 26, born in Montgomery, parents blank, first marriage for both, marriage performed by Samuel W. Moore. There is an annotation written across the name and age columns for both Howard and Katherine that says “See circuit ct order Feb 19, 1944 change of name”.
