Floyd Co. Birth Records list John G. Quesenberry b. 1 Mar 1860, father: Nat Quesenberry, occ: farmer, mother: Mary.
I may not have attributed this John to the correct parents, since this Nathaniel was married to Nancy Clay in 1860, but I have no other Nathaniel in my database, and this Nat would have been the right age, and had a wife named Mary E. in the 1870 census of Floyd Co.
I figure there are three possibilities:
(1) this John G. is the same person as the son Addison F. who appears in the 1860 census as age 1 month with parents Nathaniel and Nancy, and Mary E. is the same person as Nancy.
(2) Nathaniel had sons by two different women in the spring of 1860, John G. son of Mary in March, and Addison son of his wife Nancy in May, and sometime before 1870 he married Mary.
(3) there was another Nathaniel Quesenberry whom I have not been able to find in any other records.
