However, Elza Cox gives Tobias's birthdate as 25 Mar 1869. That date is probably correct. I have seen so many birthdates from cemetery records, etc., that are several months earlier than the dates in the Floyd Co. Birth Records that I think they must really be the date the birth was recorded rather than the date it occurred.
