Do not confuse this Henry C. Caudill with his uncle of the same name, who also married an Elizabeth.

The Kentucky Death Index lists Elizabeth Caudill, age 72, died 3 Dec 1926, in Rowan Co., certificate Vol. 65, #32470. (Her gravestone lists her death date as Dec 4th.)

Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage on 24 Feb 1881 of Henry C. Caudell and Elizabeth Deboard.

I cannot find this family in the 1900 census.

The preceding household is their son Stephen with his second wife Birchie.
