Notes for Robert Bruce Alfrey
Usually known as "R. B. Alfrey", he was one of the deputies assigned to guard the defendents in the Isaac Hall murder case.
Census
In 1930 he was listed in Creek Co., Oklahoma, as Robert B. Alfrey, 86, widowed, father-in-law, b. Ky Ky Ky, with the family of Cass M. Snyder age 55 and Martha M. Snyder age 60.
Notes for Sarah Ann Jones
Her death certificate records Sarah Ann Alfrey, age 82 years 3 months 10 days, born 17 Aug 1847 in Kentucky, died 27 Nov 1929 in Neosho, Newton Co., Missouri, married, wife of R. B. Alfrey, father Bill Jones, mother’s maiden name Barbrie Myers, cause of death double pneumonia, informant Martha Snyder, Depew, Oklahoma, burial in Gibson Cemetery.
She was listed in the 1850 census as age 1, though. A birth in 1847 would also not leave room for the birth of her older brother James.
