His WWI Draft Registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), say Dutch Trent, age 43, residence Elliottville, Rowan Co, Ky, born 16 Oct 1875, occupation farmer, self-employed, nearest relative Mollie Trent.
His obituary in the Rowan County News of Thu, May 29, 1952, somewhat summarized, reads: "Death came Tuesday to Dutch (Harvey) Trent, son of the late Harvey and Rena Lambert Trent. He was born in Virginia Oct 16, 1875, and came to Kentucky in 1884 with his family. He married Mollie Austin, who survives, along with four children: Mrs. Eunice Cornett, Elliottville; Mrs. Sora Jones, West Union, Ohio; Emmitt Trent, Toronto, Oh; and Charlie Trent, West Union. He also leaves two sisters: Ellen Fraley and Mrs. Tye Pettit, both of Yager, W. Va; and a brother, Julius Trent, Elliottville."
His death certificate states Dutch (Harvey) Trent, age 76 years 7 months 11 days, born 16 Oct 1875 in Ky, died 27 May 1952 in Rowan Co., rural near Elliottville, married, father Harvey Trent, mother’s maiden name Rena Lambert Trent, cause of death generalized carcinomation, informant Mrs. Frank Cornette, burial in Clark Cemetery.

Her death certificate (#116-57-28784) lists Mollie Austin Trent, d. 3 Nov 1957, age 76, in rural Elliottville (Trent Ridge), cause of death senility and pneumonia. It lists her marital status as widowed, and gives her birthdate as 11 Nov 1880, in Boyd Co., KY, parents William Austin and Catherine Adkins. The informant was her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cornett.
