John Wurts’s web site lists this Amos as a son of Nathaniel Pettit and Elizabeth Heath’s son Andrew and his wife Dinah. He also lists Andrew’s date of birth as around 1690, which does not fit with the family profile compiled by Frank Barrett, nor with John’s own page for Nathaniel Pettit and Elizabeth Heath, which lists their marriage as about 1711.
