Morgan Co. marriage records list marriage of David Jennings and Mary Kidd on 31 Oct 1867, at Edmund Kidd’s by William Mynhier, witnesses Joseph Perry and Asa Nickell.

1880 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 87 (Blair’s Mill), p. 21 (handwritten), 540A (stamped/microfilm), lists as family #176 (next door to his parents):
Jennings, David, 37, farmer; Mary, 32, wife; Thomas, 11, son; Harrison, 8, son; Amanda, 6, dau; Annie, 4, dau; John, 1, son. Birthplaces for Mary are listed as Ky Tenn Ky, for all others as Ky Ky Ky, but they should be reversed for David and Mary, because his father was born in Tennessee and hers was not.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Hoggtown precinct, p. 246A, lists as family #267:
Jennings, David, farmer, 57, b. Mar 1843, Ky Tn Ky; Mary, wife, 52, b. 1848 (month blank), Ky Ky Ky, married 33 years, 9 children, 9 living; Harison, son, 27, b. Aug 1872; Anna, dau, 23, b. Aug 1877; John M., son, 21, b. Mar 1879; Della, dau, 18, b. Nov 1881; Carroline, dau, 15, b. Sep 1884; Dave, son, 14, b. Mar 1886; Harry, son, 10, b. Jan 1890. (The younger son was really Aaron, which the family pronounced like “Ern”.)

1910 census of Rowan Co., KY, Hoggtown prec., lists on page 15A, family #254 (next door to David Jennings Jr.):
Jennings, David, 67, farmer, KY TN KY; (w) Polly, 61, KY KY KY; married 41 years, 9 children, 8 living; Aron, son, 20; Mary E., granddau, 16.

Mary is the daughter of Thomas Jennings and his first wife Rebecca Hall.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, precinct #9 (Wagoner), lists as family #37/40:
Jennings, David, 76; Polly, wife, 72.
