Sergant, born in Virginia, mother’s maiden name Matilda Caskey, born in Morgan Co., Ky, cause of death ulceration of the side cancer intestines, informant Arthur Crose, Craney, Ky, burial in George Crose Cemetery. (The reported age at death would imply a birthdate of 19 July 1885.)

The one filed in Fayette County records Kate Crose, age about 40, birthdate blank, born in Morgan Co., Ky, died 23 Oct 1928 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, married, wife of Arthur Crose, father E. K. Morgan Co., Ky marriage records list the marriage of Arthur Crase and Kate Sergent on 9 April 1905.

I cannot find this family in the 1910 census.

The son Silva should be a daughter. The next household is that of J. D. Smedley, whose daughter Nellie would later marry Walter Crose.

Note that this is the same address that Arthur was living at when he registered for the draft in April 1942. Also living at the same street address, but with their own family numbers, are Arthur’s son Walter with his wife Nellie (their surname misspelled as Crouse), and a divorced Edward R. Carr age 36 with two sons.
