Her death certificate records Anna Brown, age 77 years 7 months 13 days, born Oct 4 in Floyd Co., died 17 May 1934 in Rowan Co., Ky, married, wife of Jarvy Brown, father Anna Brown, mother’s maiden name Anna Martin, cause of death chronic myocarditis with mitral regurgitation, informant Jarvey Brown, Clearfield, Ky, burial in Bradley Cemetery.

Jarvey has obviously entered his wife’s married name into the father field, and her own maiden name into the mother’s maiden name field.
