His WWI draft registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), says Lee Hall, age 39, residence Bangor, Ky, born 15 May 1879, occupation farming, self-employed, nearest relative Littie Hall.

Morehead News, 10 Jan 1963: “Mrs. Lydia Brown Hall, a long time resident of Rowan Co, passed away Jan 2 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Foley Hicks in Garrett. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Garrett, with burial at Bangor. Mrs. Hall was born Feb. 13, 1880, a daughter of the late Jarvie and Anna Brown. She leaves six children: Arthur Hall, Farmers, Mrs. Burl Crosthwaite, Morehead, Cletus Hall, Wayland, Coleman Hall, Carlisle, O.; Mrs. Ernest McKenzie, Olive Hill; and Mrs. Hicks, Garrett. Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Taylor Alley, Lady Lake, Fla.; Mrs. Hick McKenzie, Clearfield; and Mrs. Pearl Carter, Mt. Vernon; 26 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.”
