Rowan Co. marriage book 35, p. 88, records the marriage on 14 Nov 1931 of Arthur Hall, age 32, son of Lee & Lydia Hall, to Ruby Crosthwait, age 21, daughter of Owen & Nora Crosthwait, both single, born in and residents of Rowan Co., at Bangor by R. A. Alfrey, minister of the Baptist church, witnesses Hick McKinzie and Chester McKinney.
