His WW I draft registration card, filed 12 Sep 1918, records Dock Baldridge, age 34, residence Clearfield, Rowan Co., Ky, born 4 Sep 1884, occupation engineer, employer Mthd Ry Co, Clearfield, Rowan Co., Ky, nearest relative Flossie Baldridge, wife, same address.

I have not found this family in 1910 yet, doing a search on Ancestry for all Baldridge families in Ky, as well as first name only searches on the family members. I also have not found the Morgan Baldridge family, or the Lee Baldridge family, nor ANY of the Riddle families that were in Rowan in both 1900 and 1920, nor many of the Jones families. I suspect that some entire area of Rowan Co. did not get canvased by the census.

1920 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct #7, enumerated 26 Jan, lists on p. 11B as family #100/103:
Baldridge, Dock, laborer at saw mill, 35; Flossa, wife, 28; Herman, son, 12; Harlan, son, 10; Bertha, cousin, 26, single. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Bertha is the daughter of John P. Baldridge and Mary Warren.

1930 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Morehead precinct 7, enumerated 8 April, lists on p.16A as family #108:
Baldridge, Dock, 43, age at first marriage 21; Flossie B., wife, 37, age at first marriage 15; Porter, Jack, boarder, 21, single. All born Ky Ky Ky.

Jack is Dock’s nephew, the son of his sister Margaret and her second husband Harvey Porter.
