Notes for Clona Black
The Kentucky birth index lists Clona Black, born 5 May 1919 in Rowan Co., mother’s maiden name Lissie Howard. It is a delayed certificate, filed in 1966.
Dewie Black's database gives Clona's birthdate as 5 April 1919, probably from information provided by the family. But she is not listed in the 1920 census (taken in January), and April or May of 1919 would be only 10 or 11 months after the birth of her brother Edgar. So I suspect she was really born in 1920, and the family got her age confused somewhere along the line.
Dewie Black's database gives Clona's birthdate as 5 April 1919, probably from information provided by the family.
