His death certificate says Dave Hall, age 88, died 15 Apr 1939 in Rowan Co., born March 1851 in Letcher Co., cause of death pneumonia, widowed, husband of Emmie Hall, father Alex Hall, mother’s maiden name Clara Martin, both born in Virginia, informant Leonard Hall, Eadston, Ky, burial Big Perry.
