Anna was listed as age 11 in the 1880 census, but there is no daughter of that name nor any daughter age 1 or 2 in the 1870 census. She is probably the daughter listed as Lucinda age 4 in the 1870 census, because in 1880 she is recorded as older than her brother James William, who was definitely born in April 1870. (The alternative would be that the daughter Lucinda died young, and Anna was born in 1871, recorded as older than her true age and and out of birth order in 1880.)

Rowan Co. marriage book 6, p. 379, records marriage on 21 May 1908 of Simon Henchbarger, 51, b. Clairon Co. (sic), Penn., s/o Abram & Loucinda Hunchbarger, to Anna Jones, 39, d/o Milt & Ellen Foster, at Green Jones by J. H. Hall, witnesses G. B. Jones & Mollie Williams. It is the second marriage for both spouses.

This marriage must have lasted less than a year, but I don’t know if Simon died or if they were divorced.
