His WWI Draft Registration card, issued in 1917/1918 (the images on Ancestry do not show the side of the card that has the date it was filed), say Charley Kegley, age 27, residence Clayton, Ky, born 22 Dec 1889 in Rowan Co., Ky, occupation farmer, self-employed, married, supporting a wife and three children.

A double stone in the Caudill Cemetery, Sharkey, says "Charley B. Kegley 1889-1971 Malinda Kegley 1881-1937"

The Kentucky death index lists Charles B. Kegley, age 81, died March 6, 1871 in Bath Co., residence Rowan Co.

Her death certificate records Malinda Frances Kegley, age 56, residence Sharkey, Ky, born 26 Apr 1881, birthplace blank, died 20 Sep 1987 in Brushy precinct, Rowan Co., Ky, married, wife of C. B. Kegley, father John Adkins, mother’s maiden name Arvilla Hunter, both born in Sharkey, Ky, cause of death endocarditis and pneumonia, informant H. A. Kegley, Sharkey, Ky.

Rowan Co. marriage book 8, p. 8 records marriage on 20 Nov 1910 of Charley Kegley, 22, s/o J. H. & Cloa Kegley, to Malinda Wells, 31, b. Elliott Co., d/o John Adkins & Arvilla Adkins Miller, at house of S. M. Miller, Clayton, Ky, by J. H. Kegley, witnesses S. M. Miller and G. N. Nichaus. It is recorded as a second marriage for both spouses.

I cannot find this family in the 1920 or 1930 censuses.
