Morgan Co. marriage records list the marriage of James W. Cassity and Lydia M. Blair on 13 Oct 1876, at the home of Benjamin Lewis by B. F. Parker, witnesses Breckinridge Blair and Wiliam Lewis.

1880 census of Morgan Co., Ky, Blairs Mill precinct, E.D. 87, lists as family #180:
Cassity, James, 50, farmer; Margarett, 29, wife; Lafayett, 2, son. All born Ky Ky Ky.
1900 census of Morgan Co., Ky, district 6, enumerated 21 June, lists on p. 18A as family #281/284:
Cassity, James, 50, b. Nov 1849, farmer; Lydia M., wife, 49, b. Nov 1850, married 24 years, mother of 2 children, 2 living; Lafaette, son, 22, b. Aug 1877, single, farm laborer. All born Ky Ky Ky.
Living in the same house are their daughter Lydia with her husband George Hunt, he listed as head of household for family #281/285. Also in the Hunt household is James’ widowed mother Lucinda Cassity, age 80, described as a boarder, presumably because “grandmother in law” is too complicated. (It would have made more sense to put her in James’ family with the relationship “mother”, since it was all the same house.)
