His WWII draft registration card, filed 27 April 1942 in East Chicago, Indiana, records Frank (no middle name) Kegley, age 46, residence 3740 Drummond, East Chicago, Lake Co., Indiana, born 10 May 1895 in Round Co., Kentucky, nearest relative Oda Kegley, same address as Frank, occupation unemployed, 5’ 10”, 145 lbs, blue eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion.
The 1900 census also gave his birthdate as May 1895, so the WWI draft card is probably incorrect.
