The preceding household is the family of Thomas’ brother Richard F. Ferguson age 41 with wife Serrilda age 32.

I cannot find this family in the 1900 census.

1910 census of Elliott Co., Ky, precinct 8, enumerated 20 April, lists on p. 3A as family #42:
Ferguson, Thomas, 65, farmer; Jane, wife, 55, first marriage for both, married 38 years, mother of 6 children, 6 living; Eliza, 10, granddau. All born Ky Ky Ky.

The preceding household is their son Wilson, age 33, and the following one is their son Wallace, age 28.
