Kentucky Death Index lists William S. Mabray, age 79, died 28 Sep 1956 in Rowan Co, certificate Vol. 44, #21860. His single stone in the Purvis Cemetery has the inscription William S. Mabry, 1877-1956.

Charlotte’s son Walter’s death certificate lists his mother’s maiden name as Charlotte Stamp.
Her death certificate (vol. 56, #27971) states Charolette Mabry, age 64 years 10 months 3 days, birthdate not filled out, died 31 Dec 1942 in Morehead, Rowan Co., Ky, widowed (which is curious since William Samuel Mabry was still alive, although her previous two husbands were not), father Davie Stamp, mother’s maiden name Mariah Strainer, both born in Ky, cause of death chronic colitis, informant Walter Quesnberry.
She is buried as Charlotte Quesinberry, 1876-1942, under a joint stone with Peter.
