In the 1930 census she was recorded in Henry Co., Indiana, with her daughter Louie E. and husband Thomas Coffey, as Anna Sorrell, mother-in-law, 54, widowed, b. Ky Ky Ky.

1900 census of Rowan Co., Ky, Farmers precinct, enumerated 22 June, lists on p. 25 as family #342/345 (right before his mother):
Sorrell, Markus K., farmer, 37, b. Dec 1862; Annie, wife, 30, b. Sep 1869, married 8 years, mother of 6 children, 5 living; Louie E., daughter, 9, b. May 1891; Jessie, daughter, 5, b. Aug 1894; Isaac G., son, 4, b. Apr 1896; Odie May, daughter, 1, b. Apr 1899. All born Ky/Ky/Ky.
The date of birth for Marcus is very inconsistent with the 1870 and 1880 censuses, which list him respectively as 3 and 13 years old. Actually, all the birthdates should be taken with a grain of salt3. I’m entering them into my database, but only tentatively for lack of any better evidence.
