He is probably the Sam E. Caudill whose WWI draft registration card gives his date of birth as 21 Sep 1872, his residence as Bigstone, Elliott Co., Ky, and his next of kin as Manda Caudill. But since I have this Samuel Caudill’s wife as Zona Carter, I am not entering that date of birth until I verify whether it is the same person.
