Deb Howard’s FamilyTreeMakern web site27 has Aaron’s ancestry back four more generations, so strictly speaking his parents are not “unknown”. But it makes it easier for me to navigate among his descendants and the other Deharts in my database if I include him on this sheet.

Deb also lists Jesse Dehart who married Jemima Wood tentatively as a member of this family, with a note “parentage not proven”. I am not doing so mainly because the name “Hubbard” runs among descendants of Jesse and Jemima, and there is no indication that Aaron Dehart or Malinda Ellender Dennis had Hubbard ancestry.
