Eunice B. Kirkman6 has her surname as Noe, with no additional information on her, but posts on the Hubbard board at Rootsweb from Pat Cooper and others have considerable information about her Lowe family. So Eunice’s data apparently represents a mistranscription from a marriage record. (Eunice does a lot of transcription of Patrick County documents for the USGenWeb archives.)

Eunice B. Kirkman <ekirkman@starband.net> shows the marriage date of Joel Hubbard and Mary Noe on 14 Sep 1791 in Patrick Co., and she also lists the birth of their son Joel Hubbard as 21 Feb 1791, seven months before the marriage. I don’t know if this just represents a data entry error or an error in the original records, or if Joel Jr. was really born before his parents were married.
